O Necmi Aydin Sahtariadis γεννήθηκε στο Trabzon-Caykara, Black Sea στα παράλια της ΝΑ Τουρκίας. Σπούδασε οπτικές τέχνες στην Κωνσταντινούπολη στην Ακαδημία Κινηματογράφου Μαρμαρά. Έχει εργαστεί ως σκηνοθέτης και κινηματογραφιστής σε πολλά πρότζεκτς και η δουλεία του έχει επιβραβευτεί πολλάκις. Οι φωτογραφίες του έχουν δημοσιοποιηθεί σε πολλές εφημερίδες και περιοδικά όπως επίσης και ως εξώφυλλα σε βιβλία και CD. 'Ειναι λέκτορας σε Ακαδημίες Κινηματογράφου και διευθύνει εργαστήρια φωτογραφίας. Ζει και εργάζεται ως σκηνοθέτης και φωτογράφος στην Αθήνα, Ελλάς./

Necmi Aydin Sahtariadis was born in Trabzon-Caykara on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey. He growed up in Berlin Germany. He studied in Istanbul at Marmara art Academy of Film and Television. He worked as Director and Cinematographer on many projects. His works were awarded with several prizes. His photos have been published in numerous Newspapers and magazines, as well as cover images for the books and CD’s used. He is a frequent lecturer at art and Film academies, director of photography Workshops. He lives and works as a director and photographer in Athens, Greece.
 

Ο Αύγουστος Βεϊνόγλου (1982 Αθήνα) εργαζεται μεταξύ Εδιμβούργου και Αθήνας. Αποφοίτησε απο το Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh με BA (Hon), MFA στο τμήμα γλυπτικής. Είναι μέλος το διοικητικού συμβουλίου στο Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop και ιδρυτής του Snehta residency στην Αθήνα. Έχει κάνει τις περισσότερές του εκθέσεις στο εξωτερικό και από τότε που επέστρεψε στην Αθήνα κάνει έργα που ανταποκρίνονται στην 'σοφία του τόπου' όπως την παρατηρεί πάνω στα αντικείμενα, στα μέρη και στον κόσμο της πόλης./

Augustus Veinoglou (b. 1982, Athens) is a Greek born artist living and working between Edinburgh and Athens. He has graduated from Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh with, BA(Hon), MFA in the department of Sculpture. He is a board member at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop and founder and director of Snehta residency in Athens. He has exhibited mainly abroad and is now back in Athens to make a new body of work that responds to the 'wisdom of the place' as it is found in its objects on its places and on its people.
 

Η Εύα Γιαννακοπούλου πειραματίζεται με performances, video, εγκαταστάσεις, ταινίες μικρού μήκους και συμμετοχικές δράσεις. Η δουλεία της επικεντρώνεται στην διερεύνηση και την κατανόηση της πολυπλοκότητας και των υπονοιών της «οπτικής ηθικής», μέσω της προσέγγισης εννοιών όπως η παρατήρηση, η συμμετοχή και τα ένστικτα. Oι επιτελέσεις της εμπνέονται συνήθως από φευγαλέες παρατηρήσεις της πολιτικής καθημερινότητας, του γυναικείου σώματος και των παράδοξων συναντήσεων μεταξύ ζώων και ανθρώπων. Έχει παρουσιάσει την δουλειά της σε μουσεία, ιδρύματα, γκαλερί, φεστιβάλ, αυτοσχέδιες δομές και δημόσιους χώρους σε Ελλάδα, Γερμανία, Γαλλία, Τουρκία και Σερβία./

Eva Giannakopoulou has experimented with different artistic practices as performances, installations, films and participatory acts. With her work, she seeks to explore and capture the complexities and subtleties of the “visual ethics”, whilst reflecting upon notions of gazing, observation, participation and instincts. Her performances are usually inspired by fleeting glimpses on politics, the female body and the unusual encounters between animals and humans. She has performed and exhibited in museums, institutions, galleries, festivals, impromptu stages and other public and unconventional sites in Greece, Germany, France, Turkey and Serbia.

Ο Κώστας Δρογκάρης γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Γύθειο Λακωνίας. Σπούδασε Ιατρική και ειδικεύτηκε στην Καρδιολογία. Από το 1990 εργάζεται ως ιδιώτης γιατρός στη Σπάρτη. Είναι παντρεμένος με τη φιλόλογο Ευαγγελία Μπέτα και πατέρας τριών παιδιών. Τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια ασχολείται συστηματικά με τη συγκέντρωση υλικού που έχει σχέση με το Γύθειο, στοχεύοντας στη διάσωση της ιστορίας της πόλης και στην ανάδειξη του παρελθόντος της. Έχει συγγράψει μαζί με την Ευαγγελία Μπέτα - Δρογκάρη τα βιβλία:

Kostas Drogkaris was born and raised in Githio, Lakonia. He studied medicine and he was specialized in cardiology. Since 1990, he works as private doctor in Sparti. He is married to philologist Evangelia Beta - Drogkari and he is the father of three children. The last twenty years he is systematically dealing with the collection of material related to Githion, aiming at the preservation of the city's history and the emergence of its past. He has wrote with Evangelia Beta - Drogkari the books:

Βασίλης Ζωγράφος (Μυτιλήνη 1965). Σπούδασε στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Ως υπότροφος του Ολλανδικού Κράτους και του Ιδρύματος "Λίλιαν Βουδούρη", ολοκλήρωσε το μεταπτυχιακό τμήμα της Ακαδημίας Καλών Τεχνών του Groningen της Ολλανδίας. Επίσης είναι απόφοιτος του διατμηματικού μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος της Πολυτεχνικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ., “Προστασία, Συντηρηση και Αποκατασταση Μνημείων Πολιτισμού". Δίδαξε από το 2002 έως το 2007 σχέδιο και ζωγραφική ως επισκέπτης καθηγητής στην Ecole Régionale de Beaux Arts de St. Etienne. Ζει και εργάζεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Vasilis Zografos (Mytilini 1965). He is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki. Zografos was awarded a scholarship from the Lilian Voudouri Trust and the Dutch State leading to a Master's Degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen, Netherlands. He also holds a multi-discipline Master's Degree from the Polytechnic School at the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki in Prοtection, Conservation, and Restoration of Cultural Monuments. Between 2002 and 2007 he taught painting and drawing at the Ecole Régionale de Beaux-Arts de Saint Etienne. He currently resides and works in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her work includes narrative video – installations and participatory residential projects that evolve around culture, instincts, memory and power relations, the notions of hospitality and tourism. Η Κυβέλη Λιγνού-Τσαμαντάνη είναι ιστορικός τέχνης. Σπούδασε στο Τμήμα Θεωρίας και Ιστορίας της Τέχνης της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών και το 2015 ολοκλήρωσε τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας της Τέχνης του Πανεπιστημίου του Γιορκ. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στην σχέση φωτογραφίας και σύγχρονης τέχνης, τέχνης και πολιτικής και στην μελέτη εικόνων από θηριωδίες./

Kyveli Lignou-Tsamantani is an art historian. She studied in the Department of Art Theory and History of the Athens School of Fine Arts and in 2015 she finished her postgraduate studies in the Department of History of Art, University of York. Her research interests focus on the relation between photography and contemporary art, art and politics, and on the examination of atrocity images.

Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και σπούδασε Ιταλική Φιλολογία. Εργάζεται στο δημόσιο. Έχει κάνει μεταπτυχιακό στην Ιστορία της Τέχνης και Διδακτορικό στη Λογοτεχνία. Τα τελευταία χρόνια ασχολείται με την Τέχνη της Φωτογραφίας./

He was born in Athens and he has studied Italian Literature. He works in public sector. He completed his Masters in Art History and his PhD in Literature. In recent years he is dealing with the Art of Photography.

Η ελληνο-αυστριακή καλλιτέχνιδα χρησιμοποιεί ένα ευρύ φάσμα μέσων για να εκφράσει τις ιδέες της και ενδιαφέρεται να εξερευνήσει μια διαφορετική επίδραση στο θεατή. Την απασχολεί λιγότερο ο λόγος για τον οποίο συμβαίνουν καταστάσεις σε σχέση με το πώς οι άνθρωποι δέχονται, αντιδρούν, βιώνουν ή προσαρμόζονται σε αυτές.
Συνδυάζοντας σπουδές στη Φιλοσοφική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, την Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας και ταξίδια διάρκειας, παρουσίασε τη δουλειά της σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις και διεθνή φεστιβάλ που έλαβαν χώρα στη Γαλλία, τη Γερμανία, την Αυστρία, την Ελλάδα και το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο: The Athens Biennale “Omonoia" το 2016/ Αθήνα; La Kunsthalle Mulhouse το 2016 / Γαλλία; Μουσείο Μπενάκη το 2015/ Αθήνα; MPA-B 2014 και 2015/ Βερολίνο; Excentricités 3 και 6 Performance Fes6val το 2012 και 2015/ Besançon; Rooms 2013 και Rooms+, Kappatos Gallery/ Αθήνα; Action Field KODRA 2012/ Θεσσαλονίκη.Τον Νοέμβριο του 2012 ολοκλήρωσε ένα πρόγραμμα Residency στην Besançon της Γαλλίας, όπου παρουσίασε ατομική έκθεση. Αρχές του 2015 συν-ίδρυσε την πλατφόρμα Netting the Work μαζί με την Εύα Γιαννακοπούλου, την οποία επιμελούνται από κοινού μέχρι και σήμερα. Ζει και εργάζεται μεταξύ Αθήνας και Βιέννης./

The Greek-Austrian artist uses a broad range of media to express her ideas since she wants to explore a different impact on the viewer. She is less interested in the reason of why things happen than in how people receive, experience, adapt or react to them.
Combining studies at the Philosophical Faculty, the School of Fine Arts in Athens and extensive traveling, she has participated in numerous exhibitions and has realised performances and actions in international Art Festivals in Greece, France, Germany, Austria and the UK: The Athens Biennale “Omonoia" in 2016/ Athens; La Kunsthalle Mulhouse in 2016 / France; Benaki Museum in 2015/ Athens; MPA-B 2014 and 2015/ Berlin; Excentricités 3 and 6 Performance Festival 2012 and 2015/ Besançon; Rooms 2013 and Rooms+, Kappatos Gallery/ Athens; Action Field KODRA 2012/ Thessaloniki. In November of 2012 she completed a residency in Besançon, France where she presented a solo exhibition. Rilène has co-founded and co-curated the Netting the Work Platform together with Eva Giannakopoulou in 2015 and 2016. Lives and works between Vienna and Athens.

Η Χριστιάνα Μαμφρέδα είναι μαθήτρια λυκείου και ασχολείται με τη φωτογραφία. Της αρέσει ν’ ακούει μουσική indie pop και jazz./

Christiana Mamfreda is a student in high school and is interested in photography. She enjoys listening to indie pop and jazz music.

Η Ειρήνη Μπαχλιτζανάκη γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1984. Σπούδασε Ιστορία της Τέχνης στο University College London (UCL) και Καλές Τέχνες στο Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design και στο Chelsea College of Art and Design στο Λονδίνο. Έχει πάρει μέρος σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό και τον Οκτώβριο του 2015 παρουσίασε την πρώτη της ατομική έκθεση στην Αθήνα. Παράλληλα με την καλλιτεχνική της πρακτική ασχολείται και με την επιμέλεια εκθέσεων. Από το 2011 ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα./

Irini Bachlitzanaki was born in Athens, Greece in 1984. She studied History of Art at University College London (UCL) and Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. She has shown her work in several group exhibitions both in Greece and abroad. In May of 2011 she had her first solo presentation in London and in March of 2012 she curated her first show in Athens. In October of 2015 she presented her first solo exhibition at Elika Gallery, Athens. In addition to her work as an artist, she also works as a curator. She lives and works in Athens.

Η Ευαγγελία Μπέτα - Δρογκάρη γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στον Βόλο. Σπούδασε στη Φιλοσοφική Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Εργάστηκε επί σειρά ετών στη Μέση Εκπαίδευση. Σήμερα ζει στη Σπάρτη. Είναι παντρεμένη με τον Κώστα Δρόγκαρη και μητέρα τριών παιδιών. Τα τελευταία χρόνια συνεργάζεται με τον άνδρα της για την αξιοποίηση του αρχείου που ο τελευταίος διαθέτει και το οποίο έχει σχέση με το Γύθειο Λακωνίας. Ο Κώστας Δρογκάρης γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Γύθειο Λακωνίας. Σπούδασε Ιατρική και ειδικεύτηκε στην Καρδιολογία. Από το 1990 εργάζεται ως ιδιώτης γιατρός στη Σπάρτη. Είναι παντρεμένος με τη φιλόλογο Ευαγγελία Μπέτα και πατέρας τριών παιδιών. Evangelia Beta - Drogkari was born and raised in Volos. She studied at the School of Philosophy and Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She worked for many years at the secondary education. Today, she lives in Sparti. She is married to Kostas Drogkaris and she is the mother of three children. Lately, she collaborates with her husband for the development of the archive related to Guthio, Lakonia that he maintains.  Kostas Drogkaris was born and raised in Githio, Lakonia. Η Φανή Μπήτου ζεί και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα.Είναι απόφοιτος του Εθνικού Μετσοβίου Πολυτεχνείου(2002) και της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών(2013). Η καλλιτεχνική της πρακτική συμπεριλαμβάνει,εγκαταστάσεις, παρεμβάσεις σε δημόσιους χώρους, έρευνα σε ιστορικά αρχεία και προφορικές αφηγήσεις. Εχει συμμετάσχει σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις και καλλιτεχνικά project στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Fani Bitou lives and works in Athens. She graduated from National Technical School of Athens (2002) and from the Athens School of Fine Arts (2013). Her art practice includes installations, interventions in public space, research in historical archives, narrations and everyday practices of the social subject. She has presented her work in various group exhibitions and art projects in Greece and abroad. Some of her participations include: “Work and art: How artists make a living” Symposium, Canterbury, UK, 2015, "Voices" at Camp, Athens, 2014, the 4th Biennale "Agora", Athens, 2014, "Border Crossing on Border and Anthropology and Anthropological Nomadism", Bucharest, 2013, etc.

Γεννήθηκε στην Κρήτη, Έλλαδα.
Η Μαρία ολοκλήρωσε το μεταπτυχιακό της στο τμήμα MFA in Fine Arts του Πανεπιστημίου Goldsmiths του Λονδίνου το 2015. Το 2012 αποφοίτησε από την Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθηνών, όπου ελαβε την Υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Σπυρίδωνος Βικάτου 2013. Η Ντόρα Οικονόμου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1974 όπου ζει και εργάζεται. Επιστρέφει σε μέρη, κείμενα και υλικά με τα οποία είχε στο παρελθόν συνάψει σχέση, είτε κυριολεκτική είτε φανταστική, παίρνει δείγματα και με αυτά χτίζει αντικείμενα, διηγήσεις και εγκαταστάσεις. Dora Economou was born in Athens where she lives and works. She visits places, text and materials she has had a relationship with, either literal or fictional, takes samples and composes them into sculptures and sculptural installations. Ο Πάνος Προφήτης είναι τραγικός στους χρόνους του. 'Οταν χτυπάει το τηλέφωνο του, δεν απαντά την κλήση γιατί του αρέσει να ακούει το ringtone. Οδηγεί παρ' όλα αυτά το μηχανάκι του φορώντας πάντα κράνος, όταν δεν επιλέγει να περπατά. Χάνεται που και που και δηλώνει καλλιτέχνης./

Panos Profitis is tragical in his way of dealing with time. When the phone is ringing, he never peaks it up because he likes listening to the melody of the ringtone. Nevertheless, he is always driving his motorcycle wearing a helmet when he is not choosing to walk. He disappears occasionally and he declares himself as an artist.

Η Ευαγγελία Ραφτοπούλου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Είναι τελειόφοιτος της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών Αθήνας. Οι καλλιτεχνικοί της πειραματισμοί συμπεριλαμβάνουν κινούμενη και στατική εικόνα, ηχητικές εγκαταστάσεις και δράσεις στον δημόσιο χώρο. Έχει παρουσιάσει το έργο της σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό./

Evangelia Raftopoulou was born in Athens. She is senior student at Athens School of Fine Arts. Her artistic experimentations include moving and still image, sound installations and performances in public space. She has shown her work in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

 

Η Βασιλική Σηφοστρατουδάκη γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα (1979). Αποφοίτησε από την Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθηνών (2012), όπου ελαβε την Υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφίων (ΙΚΥ) το 2013. Ολοκλήρωσε το μεταπτυχιακό της στο τμήμα MFA in Fine Arts του Πανεπιστημίου Piet Zwart Institute, Ρότερνταμ Ολλανδίας όπου και αποφοίτησε με Cum Laude. Η Σηφοστρατουδάκη έχει λάβει μέρος σε διάφορες εκθέσεις και φεστιβάλ την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, μεταξύ αυτών: ατομική έκθεση (2016) “Rocks in Stock”/ JOEY RAMONE, συμμετήχε στο “Reframe Memory”/ Μουσείο Μπενάκη, Αθήνα. (2015) “An island folded as a dry bread” / Upominki, Ρότερνταμ Ολλανδίας, (2014) Performative Labour-ism Performance Festival/ στα πλαίσια του MPA-Berlin 2/ Month of Performance/Βερολίνο/Γερμανία, “Pantone Green and a Glass of Lemonade” σε συνεργασία με τη Jessica Dunleavy την υποστήριξη της Snehta Residency και κάτω από την αιγίδα British Council EUNIC, στο Bhive, στην Αθήνα (2014). Athens Schools of Fine Art (2012) and received a Master of Fine Arts from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam (2015). Η Ria van der Starre γεννήθηκε το 1948. Νέα στην καρδία, της αρέσει να κολυμπάει, να πηγαίνει βόλτες με τον σκύλο της Caramel και να παριστάνει το αφεντικό. Εργάζεται στο Kookplunt, το μεγαλύτερο κατάστημα οικιακών συσκευών στην Ευρώπη. Ζει στο Ρότερνταμ της Ολλανδίας./

Employing a multi-disciplinary approach, Sriwhana Spong explores the fertile margins where things meet, playing in the crevices of culturally inscribed boundaries through the exploration of various mediums.  Her performance Tasseography of A Rats Nest (2015) “reads” the leaves from a rat’s nest to divine an odd future: a tangled constellation of bread rolls, fur, fear of infection and injury, the rapture, climbing temperatures, emails from mothers, the measurement of lungs and the bodies of sleeping lovers. Im Wintergarten (2016) explores the paired tuning system of the Balinese gamelan through a specially designed instrument. With a score by composer Antonia Barnett-McIntosh and choreography by Benjamin Ord, the work explores the dynamics of contemporary seduction where the simultaneous act of attention and withdrawal inscribes a rhythm of opening and closing, of entrapment and reverie. Sriwhana Spong was born in New Zealand.  Recent exhibitions include: Im Wintergarten, daagalerie, Berlin (2015); 24 Frames per Second, Carriageworks, Sydney (2015); Sights and Sounds, The Jewish Museum, New York, (2015); Art Basel Hong Kong Film Sector (2014), Taking Form with Agathe-Goth Snape, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney (2013), Zizhiqu-Autonomous Regions, Guandong Times Museum, Guangzhou (2013), All Our Relations 18th Biennale of Sydney, Sydney (2012). Η Βασιλική Τζανάκου, είναι ανεξάρτητη επιμελήτρια εικαστικών εκθέσεων, σύμβουλος καλών τεχνών, και πολιτικός επιστήμων, ελληνικής καταγωγής με έδρα το Λονδίνο. Αφού ολοκλήρωσε ένα διετές πρόγραμμα εισαγωγής στην αρχιτεκτονική, σπούδασε Πολιτική Επιστήμη στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Αθήνας και συνέχισε με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Πολιτική Επικοινωνία στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου. Από το 2013 και έπειτα έχει επιμεληθεί εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και για την 55 Μπιενάλε της Βενετίας καθώς έχει αρθρογραφήσει για θέματα σύγχρονης τέχνης διεθνώς. Η Τζανάκου είναι Διευθύντρια της ARTinTRA, μέλος της Ελληνικής Εταιρίας Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και της International Biennial Association./

Vassiliki Tzanakou is a Greek, London-based independent curator, arts consultant and political scientist. After accomplishing a foundation course in Architecture, she studied Political Science at the University of Athens, followed by an MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in Political Communications. Since 2013 she has curated exhibitions in Greece, the UK and for the 55th Venice Biennale and has written in publications covering themes of contemporary art.Tzanakou is Director of ARTinTRA, a member of the Hellenic Political Science Association and of the International Biennial Association.

Η Μαρία Τζανάκου είναι απόφοιτος της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών (ΑΣΚΤ) Αθήνας και έχει παρακολουθήσει στο Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London το μεταπτυχιακό κύκλο σπουδών Performance Design and Practice. Η δουλειά της καταλαμβάνει το χώρο της τέχνης ως δημόσιες παρεμβάσεις στους δρόμους της Αθήνας. Χρησιμοποιώντας διάφορα μέσα όπως σχέδιο, φωτογραφία, performance, και βίντεο εφιστά την προσοχή σε κρίσιμα σύγχρονα ζητήματα. Έχει παρουσιάσει το έργο της στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα./

Ο Νίκος Χατζηκωνσταντής γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1968. Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Μηχανικών Η/Υ Συστημάτων ΤΕΙ Πειραιά, και της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών (Α.Σ.Κ.Τ) Αθήνας. Η δουλειά του προσεγγίζει θέματα όπως το τοπίο, την αποτύπωση και θέαση της φύσης καθώς και θέματα που αφορούν την τεχνολογία , κάνοντας χρήση μέσων όπως η φωτογραφία το βίντεο, αλλά και άλλων υλικών. Το έργο του έχει παρουσιαστεί σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις, δράσεις, και φεστιβάλ φωτογραφίας./

Nikos Chatzikonstantis was born in Athens, Gr in 1968. Graduated of Department of Computer Systems Engineering (Technological Education Institute of Piraeus) and Athens School of Fine Arts. The job of approaching issues such as landscape, capturing and viewing of nature and issues related to technology, making use of mediums such as photo, video and other materials. His work has been presented in group exhibitions, actions, and photography festivals.
